Dark Chocolate Brownies

I decided to make some brownies the other night, instead of using normal cocoa powder I used some Special Dark cocoa to make them extra delicious. This brownie recipe turned out perfect. The brownies were the perfect consistency with a great flavor.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour an 9" by 13" - 2" deep pan pan.
2. In a large microwaveable bowl, melt butter. Remove from microwave, and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
3. Beat in cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir in chocolate chips.
4. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Do not overcook.
4. Serve warm. Enjoy!
