Sesame Tilapia

Nick was in charge of dinner the other night and he found this recipe for Tilapia. It was quite delicious, I highly recommend it. It was perfectly paired with some sauteed veggies with a dash of the remaining sauce and some rice.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup apple sauce (you may substitute with apple juice or orange juice)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sesame oil
1 tsp white sugar
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ground ginger or freshly grated ginger
4 (4 ounce) Tilapia fillets

Directions:
1. Combine the apple sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and ginger in a 9x13 inch baking dish mix well until fully combined.
2. Add the tilapia fillets, turning once to evenly coat. Cover the dish with plastic wrap, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat an oven to 425 degrees F.
4. Remove the plastic wrap, and bake in the preheated oven until the fish flakes easily with a fork, 9 to 11 minutes. Serve immediately and top with remaining sauce in baking dish. Enjoy!
