I found this simple slow cooker recipe on Pinterest. I knew it would be a great change in menu from our usual Mexican and/or Italian cuisine. This was very simple to make and it went great with rice and broccoli.
Ingredients:
1 package (8oz) cream cheese, softened
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 package of zesty Italian seasoning
2-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (frozen works too)
rice
vegetable of your choice
Directions:
1. Combine the cream cheese, cream of chicken, and seasoning together in the slow cooker. Stir to blend flavors.
2. Add chicken to the cream cheese mix in slow cooker and cover. Cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours or until the chicken is cooked and fall-apart-tender.
3. Before serving, remove chicken from slow cooker and slice into strips. Serve with cooked rice and vegetable of your choice. Spoon remaining sauce over all ingredients and Enjoy!
