Slow Cooker Cranberry Chicken

I had some amazing cranberry chicken at a wedding awhile ago and after the wedding I had found a similar recipe and then forgot about it. I recently found that recipe and decided I would make it. It seemed simple enough and it was. This recipe is sooooo easy and it created some super tasty chicken and sauce. The meal I made ended up like an alternative Thanksgiving meal with mashies (using the sauce as a gravy for the mashies), stuffing, and salad. You must give this recipe a try if you would like a simple tangy slow cooker chicken.

Ingredients:
4 large skinless chicken breasts
1 onion dry soup mix or 1 Tbsp onion powder and 1 Tbsp dried onions
1 cup (16 oz) Catalina dressing
1 14.5 oz can of cranberry sauce (with or without full cranberries)

Directions:
1. Add the onion soup mix or alternative, the Catalina dressing, and cranberry sauce to the slow cooker. Combine ingredients with a plastic spoon until all ingredients are blended well.
2.Place the chicken in the slow cooker, being sure to coat the chicken in the cranberry mixture using a spoon to do so. Cook on LOW for 7 hours or HIGH for 3 hours.
3. Serve chicken with sauce from the slow cooker, pour sauce over chicken or over mashed potatoes or rice. Enjoy!
