Fresh Alfredo Sauce

Alfredo sauce is delicious but just like all sauces, homemade sauce is much better because things are always better fresh. I came up with this recipe tonight and it was very very good and it went perfectly with our pre-made Costco ravioli.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
2 tbsp minced garlic (around 4 cloves)
2 tbsp fresh finely chopped parsley leaves
1 1/2 cups half and half
garlic salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1 tbsp flour mixed with 1 tbsp hot water (make sure there are no clumps)

Directions:
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan on medium low heat.
2. Add the minced garlic and parsley, stirring and cooking for about 3 minutes.
3. Add the half and half, salt, and pepper and bring to a simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Stir the flour mixture and Parmesan cheese into the sauce, whisking continually. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. No longer than 5 minutes.
5. Pour sauce over your favorite pasta dish and enjoy!
